One of my earliest memories is of my dad pulling a book off the shelf in our family room and opening up the first page where I saw these words written, “Life is difficult.”  The book is MAN’S SEARCH FOR MEANING by Viktor Frankl

Indeed.

    Excellent. I think that is much healthier news for a kid compared to the usual “Everyone’s special!” or “There are no limits to your dreams!” crap. Life, indeed, is difficult, but well worth it usually.

    Yes, it is well worth it usually. It’s good to know the truth and then just move on from there!
